Everyone seems to like the Spike's 22lr upper, because you can drop them onto a 223/556 lower with no fiddling and they work.
I understand the bolt and it's recoil system is self-contained and that it does not use the stock buffer tube or recoil spring.
Does the Model 1 sales 22lr upper work in the same way? I haven't been able to figure it out from internet searches.
Besides Spike's and Model 1 sales uppers, which I can see are some of the more highly regarded 22lr uppers, who makes decent 22lr uppers as well, that are drop in?
(I am not interested in an upper where the lower or BCG would have to be futzed around with (adjusted) to get it to run with a lower set up for 223/556).
Anyone else I should be looking at? Thanks for the help.
