A LOT of reading. I too have a call in to Aimpoint (left a message) to double check my serial numbers.

Just got off the phone with the warranty manager at Aimpoint. He has looked at the pictures I have posted and checked the serial #. He has confirmed 100% that this Aimpoint is REAL! He has also confirmed 100% that botasch.com is one of their biggest sellers of the Aimpoint M4 and only sells REAL Aimpoint products!

Just got off the phone with the buyer. He will be calling Aimpoint shortly and will post his finding here. He plans to keep the unit if he is wrong.

Looks like it is real, check the OPs original post on page 1. Looks like we have a new rule when posting Aimpoints. PM the serial number to the buyer for confirmation.

glad everything is working itsself out for you guys.

I dunno, I've never been much for guns. I mean, sure, we have the usual gun by the door, another near the TV, one in the kitchen, and another in the bedroom...and several others laying around. For the most part though, we keep our home free of guns. We are peace loving folks.

What a PUNK! Something he should've done from the very beginning.

All the Grief he caused you could've been Avoided with a simple phone call.

Hope things work out for U.

                        I don't think so......He's a Vascular Surgeon

I just got off the phone with him and he is actually a good guy. He has decided to keep the Aimpoint and has given me a sincere apology. Maybe he was just having a bad day. I say we let him off the hook. I will be leaving + feedback.

let's see...he's a surgeon which means he must have a good attention to detail and now everything about what he is doing...yet when it came to the aimpoint he didn't know squat? I would hate to be a patient of his

Hey go easy on the guy, the end result was good and we all have to learn sometime. Being an expert in one thing doesn't make you an expert in everything. We've all made mistakes.

Yeah give the guy a break. I think we all learned something from this. We now know how to spot Aimpoint clones...

                              Now what about Eotechs?

Glad this seems to be working out for the seller.
