I was planning to "improve" my HH to something close to your design. You probably already considered to add a checkering or stippling to the surface?

Doesn't really work. You can kind of make one that puts the grip in exactly the same position as the one in the OP, but the ergonomics of the standard AR grip would be all out of whack at that point. That's probably why the OP decided to make their own grip shape, and I would say they made the right choice. See below

Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

Looks like a hammerhead but more ergo. It also looks like my little girly hands would have no chance of reaching the trigger.

I would try one of those!

That's a great idea. We'll definitely include you, your feedback has been really valuable.

I'll PM in 1-2 weeks to coordinate.

Ambidextrous all the way. We're currently testing out a thumb shelf, and I'm putting 'em on both sides.

We're making major ergonomics changes from this version, so I'd be hesitant to make another video with it.

Next week, when I have the next version printed, I'll show me shouldering with the grip.

No worries, that's just the cheap 3d-print plastic. The final version will be similar to what Magpul and others use.

On price, we're shooting to be competitive with other standalone grip options.

The hammerhead actually sits above that line to make sure it is extra Cali compliant. As far as the part that sits below the trigger guard, I agree with you that it is not an issue.

Thank you for your work. I hope this all works out to the benefit of everyone.
Ahhh, I get you. And good call. Yeah, it looks like we may be like 1mm too low right now. I'll bump that up going forward.

I'm not sure what final material we'll use, but we're aiming for that sort of performance.

Please use some rugged material or atleast a topcoat of something thats not smooth...even if it doesnt feel just right to some folks (you cant please everyone) a sturdy feel will help some folks.

For example i just bought a hammerhead. My hands are just a tad big and it doesnt feel too comfy but if i had some sort of sturdy grip i would be more pleased. Im thinking of adding some grip tape so i can have that sturdy feel...

As for feed back, I really like it. I would prefer to see something smaller in diameter though. That way you can really tuck that grip tightly in the palm. The rifles I have with traditional stocks are thin in the grip, and I think that helps make their ergonomics work. All in all it's an awesome concept, I'd buy one.
