Anyone have any experience with Strike Industries parts. Seem like very nice parts, and people, located here in Orange County. Was thinking of adding their
Charging Handle Extended Latch to my generic charging handle, and perhaps using their ARCH-EL Charging Handle with extended latch on the other build.
Was also thinking of using their AR Receiver Extension QD Endplate on all three builds.
Thoughts?Comment

Picked up a couple of items on sale on the Strike Industries website. I am really impressed with the foregrip. I picked up the Dura Grip (LITE PRO version with standard rail mount MODEL: DG-L01) on the web it was going around $45, on the Strike Industries website they were clearing it out for $24. It's made from all aluminum including the screw in end cap to the storage inside the grip. There are flat surfaces for mounting your rail light's pressure switch. Really robust professional grade piece at a budget price. (It does not fold).
Also picked up three AR Receiver extension QD endplates. MODEL: AR-RE7P-QDEP, what I liked about them is they not only accomodate QD sling attachments, but they allow for other types of attachment as well and were on sale for $5.00 very solid as well.
Last item I picked up was a ambi trigger guard admittedly the wrong color, but at $4 it was worth picking up. Comes with Ambi and left-hand only guard, for $4 OD Green.
Shipping was really fast as well. Ordered in the middle of the night, shipped the next morning to me a day later.Last edited by grantar2; 09-09-2016, 4:17 PM.Comment

So I have kits coming from two separate vendors, neither kit is here yet, but I thought I would update my experience with each so far.
The first kit was ordered from Daytona Tactical on 8/31/16 so 11 days ago including weekends, and yes it was ordered in the middle of the night.
9/10/16 late in the evening I checked the order follow up since they have a system for that on the Daytona Tactical kit. The system shows the order and no update since 8/31/16. It's within the normal two weeks I expect on this kind of thing, and it did say processing, but no update since the day of order isn't a confidence builder.
I ordered two kits from Alpha Sports three days apart, and selected pickup which they have to schedule an appointment for. At order when you select pick up they say you will be notified by e-mail. So last night using the messaging on Facebook (not the open forum) I asked how long the normal wait is. We are talking about 8pm and shortly thereafter I got a reply 7-10 days. Now my orders were placed late on 9/2/16 and mid morning on 9/6/16 so well see if it holds to the 7 to 10 days, but vs. Daytona, Alpha was quick to respond, unexpectedly quick, which is very much appreciated.Comment

Ordered my first kit from Alpha Shooting Sports on 9/2, second kit on 9/6. Elected to pick up rather than have them ship, which means you have to wait for them to notify you by e-mail and then make an appointment to pick up. Got my e-mail this morning although it doesn't say which kit, or both. Wasn't able to get through today to make an appointment, but I would say 10 days from order to ready is good. Looking forward to assembling it.Comment

Day 13 - received notice via e-mail from Daytona Tactical that my kit has shipped USPS. With Daytona now in transit, with Alpha Shooting Sports having e-mailed me that at least one of my two kits is ready for pick up we should soon be hitting stride.
Now if Aero Precision would just get off their tuckus and complete the ADI logo order I could have all three rifles in build.Comment

When it rains it pours. Called Alpha Shooting Sports this afternoon. The notice I had received was for the first kit I had ordered on 9/2, however the kit I ordered on 9/6 was in work and would be ready tomorrow. I am picking both kits up Thursday. The shipping tracker shows the kit from Daytona will arrive in my shop on Thursday. So I can start build on my two Anderson lowers this weekend, and am now just waiting Aero Precision to deliver my third lower. Really not a rush on that one as late as it is, since I have to DROS it, and that will put me in October. With three gun shows in a row, followed by four days out at Front Sight with Artemis Defense Institute special group, I wont have time to do any work on the third rifle. .Last edited by grantar2; 09-13-2016, 4:00 PM.Comment
