From what I understand, since it is a pistol. You can't do featureless.
Which is what I would do.

Outside CA, that is no longer the case. So long as one avoids SBR configuration you are free to go from handgun to legally configured rifle and back to handgun. One can not take what was manufactured as a rifle and go to handgun however, the firearm must have started as a handgun or receiver 4473'd as "other". And we can't do "other" in CA.

So it has to be RAW? Or it doesn't affect pistols?
I am a little lost here. Please help

My only complaints are the price and that the caliber xchange kits seem to be kind of a ruse. Part of the reason I bought the mcx is for the 7.62x39 kit which may never apear.
I've bought an MPX and a pair of MCX - one of them is living out of state. I've bought other "they're going to do another caliber kit" rifles, Robinsons mainly, and that hasn't happened. But I think Sig will actually do it. I hope, anyway.

Why would you have to sell it? I am keeping mine as long as I can.

Just don't want to register any rifles. I don't want to have any reason for them to come take my rifle/guns once they start banning RAW. I am not saying this will happen, but I have a feeling it'll happen sooner or later

Depends on if you like to use your gun in a sporting manner. USPSA is allowing pistol caliber carbines in 2017, which means a 9mm AR (rule set issues) can be used to have a lot of fun in what amounts to CQB scenario's. The guys down in Oceanside have been testing them in prep for the new season during the weekly Thursday night matches, and it's amazing how much faster and accurate they are than the best pistols.

What Ed said... "Assault Pistols" must go RAW since the BB/maglock is no longer sufficient to avoid the evil "Assault Weapon" moniker... which translates into "go directly to felony possession" legal consequences in this commie state of affairs...

AR-style pistols have no recourse because the "pistol" magazine is outside the grip. This dates back to the heritage days of CA trying to ban SMGs like the Intratec TEC-9 and such (both by name and similarity).

CZ scorpion . Half the cost and magazines are cheap and plentiful. Far more easier to maintain and field strip.

I'd love to have an MPX pistol if they could be had for what they are worth. No you can only find them in CA for at least 100% markup.

I have the MPX carbine. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy shooting it. Never had one issue or problems, except running out of ammo. The cost of the MPX is not worth it in my book. The build quality is Fantastic. The Gripes I have is that it comes with Plastic Flip up sights. I mean really going to put cheap sights on a gun you are paying for $2,000+... The Front sight post is not that great for indoor, it is not painted, it's just plain black. also, has a plastic dust cover. The MPX should cost more in the ball park of $1,200-1,400 range. not $2k+ range.

Fyi mpx pistols do cost 1200 dollars. It's the markup due to being off roster.

And the carbines are around 1600 I believe. You paid that california markup for complinace.

Out of all the guns I have, it's my favorite. So is worth it to me. Plus 9mm is so much cheaper, one day it will pay for itself.
I just took one my female friends to the range, who never shot. And she ended up loving the MPX. It was easy to hold than my pistols. A lot lighter than my rifles.
                                She likes shooting now.
