Featureless AR Question??? !!!

So, is a AR15 inherently banned and classified as an AW, and therefore running featureless will not remove it as being considered an AW? Or does running featureless not help you with an AR platform? Any legal precedent?

First of all, featureless sucks. You might as well register your AR as an AW because they will eventually restrict the featureless features. All this talk on this forum about how to circumvent the new laws just gives the antis ideas.

Well, featureless doesn't suck. I think it's a great alternative to having a bullet button, especially on an AK.

But I also agree that most of these sections should be visible to members only.

Becoming a member takes all of 2 minutes so that wouldn't solve anything. Hell even becoming a paid contributor wouldn't stop antis since they are all funded by the gov or elites like Soros or Bloomberg

And saying don't Go featureless cuz they'll eventually ban it is the stupidest thing I've ever seen on calguns. By that logic we should all just voluntarily turn on our guns cuz that's the eventual endgame of the libs and resisting them is futile.

You do what you like but those of us with balls won't give up that easy

what makes you think they are not members...Many of the people we need to worry about run Gun Clubs and are high ranking members in our community.

NO, ONLY IF THEY ALSO RE-DEFINE THE FEATURES CAN CAUSE THAT. Or does running featureless not help you with an AR platform? THE AR PLATFORM IS NOT INHERENTLY AN AW. Any legal precedent? YES A MAN WAS FOUND NOT GUILTY OF AW POSSESION AND DURING THAT TRIAL DOJ WEAPON SPECIALIST IDENTIFIED 3 COMPLIANCE DEVICES AS NOT FEATURES OF AN AW'S PISTOL GRIP. AW CAT 1 = MANUFACTURE AND MODEL NUMBER ON FIREARM MAKES IT AN AW. LIST AT THE TOP OF THIS WEBSITE.

AW CAT 2 = MORE NAMES OF MANUFACTURERS AND MODELS THAT ARE AWS

AW CAT 3 = AW IS IDENTIFIED BY FEATURES OF THE FIREARM.

AW CAT 3 MUST HAVE ALL OF THESE, WITHOUT ALL 3 IT CAN NOT BE AN AW... ;

1- SEMIAUTOMATIC ACTION (BROKEN OR DISABLED SEMIAUTOMATIC IS STILL SEMIAUTOMATIC DESIGN)
2- RIFLE OR PISTOL OR SHOTGUN OR AOW. (THIS IS CENTERED ON RIFLES, NOT PISTOLS AND SHOTGUNS THOSE HAVE OTHER REQUIREMENTS AS WELL)
3- CHAMBERED FOR CENTER-FIRE AMMUNITION.
4- DETACHABLE MAGAZINE (CURRENT LAW), NOT A FIXED MAGAZINE (NEXT YEARS LAW)

AFTER YOU REACH THOSE 3 REQUIREMENTS, IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING FEATURES, YOU NOW HAVE AN AW...

1- PISTOL GRIP
2- TELESCOPING STOCK OR THUMBHOLE STOCK
3- LAUNCHER
4- FLASH HIDER
5- FORWARD PISTOL GRIP.

SO ALL OF THE GREEN REQUIREMENT AND ANY ONE OF THE BLUE REQUIREMENTS MAKES AN AW.

IF YOU HAVE ALL GREEN AND NO BLUE..ITS FEATURELESS.

I wouldn't really call the armaglock, and BB2 a "work around." It does exactly what the antis want. It slows you down to the point that your AR is no more than a wimpy range toy. Very sad.

And yes, featureless SUCKS. if I wanted to defile and neuter my rifle into featureless I could've just bought a Mini 14....
