Where to finish an 80% lower in the bay area

The point of an 80% homebuild is that you do the other 20% yourself.

No paper trail is just a bonus.

I'm totally on board with that point, even without the bonus

I'm not afraid of the paper trail like some others portray to be, I'm trying to follow the rules. I'm just trying to be proactive and don't want to lose my options for owning certain items legally.

For me, the amount of work/end product of the 80% lower may not be worth the result for me.
