Newbie AK 47 question

One last question. I found a used Poly Technologies AK-762. The person took off all of the wood furniture and replaced it with Magpul gear. He's asking $1000. Is that a good deal and a good rifle to have? Just interested in your two cents. Thanks.

Atlantic is a reputable dealer (and a Calguns vendor, they post here). this is their California list, ones they will charge you to install a bullet button on and remove 30 rounds mag. ship it to your FFL.

btw: don't buy RAS or IO AK. crap.
buy DDI, N-Pap, VEPR, Arsend SAM series......

I've been perusing the Calguns marketplace for an AK also, but even used ones are more expensive than the brand new ones from the stores. Perhaps the Calguns' AKs have some customized parts that add to the cost, but I don't care for those customization. So I'm planning to just buy brand new from Atlantic.
