PO'ed - AR15 Complete Lower I just bought has ugly logo laser etched into it

Hey guys. I just bought an AR15 complete lower that I am not happy about. When the guy was trying to sell it to me, I briefly noticed an ugly sticker on the right side of the lower. I assumed it was just a sticker that I could easily peal off because I've never seen a lower with a permanent sticker on it or heard of that.

I'm pissed now because I spent all that money on this stupid thing and not once when the guy was trying to sell it to me did he mention that the ugly logo/sticker on the side of it was laser etched into the lower receiver. Too late now. I'm stuck with this ugly thing.

Everybody is out of lowers right now but I think when one I am interested in becomes available I am going to buy it and smash this ugly thing.

Is there anything I can do with this one to get rid of the ugly logo laser etched onto it?

You could get it etched over with something else... and then combine that with duracoat? Maybe get a nice camo duracoat layer on there? You could make it look nice bro... don't trip. You just gotta change your game plan a little bit.

What kind of lower is it?

Pretty sure that Duracoat sells somesort of gunbondo, fill the etching up with that and then Duracoat over the lower. Don't ruin it. Or, just sell it and buy another, lowers are pretty in demand right now.

And you didn't bother asking why there is a sticker there before buying?

You did visually and physically inspect the lower right?

Yeah I don't know dude. I was planning on a complete black AR so I don't really wanna etch anything over it. Just checked into the durocoat thing. Thanks for the tip dude. might have to look into that but I just don't want it to look tacky

Sorry I really don't wanna post any pics because I don't wanna ruin anyones reputation or talk crap on them
