That thing is amazing looking! I can't wait till one really slow slow member on this forum gets a group buy for that thing. But I'm 100% sure you will need a riser. If u let me shoot that thing I'd pay for your entrance fee!

your forgetting the riser you going to have to add so you can shoot it right
have you tried shooting a ar without the riser? its hard as hell compared to one with a riser.you bring the gun to your face ,not your face to the gun.
to see thur your current set up your stock will be in your ear.Comment

To speaking on the thought of an ultra lightweight buffer, has anybody taken the weights completely out of the buffer and fired it? Have you been successful with an ultra lightweight carbine buffer? I have a an adjustable gas block and somebody in this thread mentioned shooting the buffer any weights. without weights. My question to you altra light weight gurus is do you get any kind of bolt bounce or experience any other issues with such a light weight buffer like the tac con, or a car being buffer without the weightsLast edited by QuarterBoreGunner; 03-06-2016, 8:32 AM.Comment

Well I won't be shooting t until after my Bar exam at the end of February...
Il know then if I truly need a riser or not...
If I do... Il start looking for places to shave off an ounceComment

What don't you see?
Lighter at has less recoil when set up correctly, bolt travels faster, longer shooting or carrying around without getting arms tired
Shoot and hold an 5 pound ar then shoot an hold a 7.5 pound at and you'll get itComment
