Very cool thread and contributions guys.Comment

Thanks.. Titanium castle nut, end cap, and grip screw are on the way... That should reduce the weight by .7-.8 of an ounce...
Then titanium barrel nut will come eventually and tip the entire gun another .7 of an ounce in which I should be roughly 79.5 ounces with a sight!!Comment

That's impressive. I would love to have something that light for all day classes. But with all the cutouts in the upper receiver, I would personally remove the dust cover.Originally posted by G. There is no dust cover, no forward assist either, just a small brass deflectorComment

To speaking on the thought of an ultra lightweight buffer, has anybody taken the weights completely out of the buffer and fired it? Have you been successful with an ultra lightweight carbine buffer? I have a an adjustable gas block and somebody in this thread mentioned shooting the buffer any weights. without weights. My question to you altra light weight gurus is do you get any kind of bolt bounce or experience any other issues with such a light weight buffer like the tac con, or a car being buffer without the weightsComment

No experience yet but tax on o think advertises that it reduces bolt bounce
Not to mention, with an adjustable gas block, there should be little to no bolt bounce at all since you should only have the minimal amount of gas to lock the bolt back and not go any furtherComment
