    Thoughts On PSA BCGs?

Hello guys. Somewhat new to ARs. Been shooting AKs for years. Now that the prices are right, I decided to build an AR. Today I ordered a PSA BCG and wanted to see if anyone here has any experience with their products.

This is the one I purchased:

Not bad at all for $99

    Any feedback would be appreciated.

    Thank you

I'm nearing on 1k rounds from my psa upper and bcg. No issues. All looks good. Dropped a field gauge on in it and it was a pretty tight chamber actually compared to the colt uppers I've seen. Staking looks good. No excessive wear so far.

I like how dark the finish is on them compared to the more grey military ones I see.

Battle Field Las Vegas started using them several months ago in the auto guns going though thousands of rounds a month. They've been doing well, so we'll see if they have less trouble than the LMT and DD bolts that they have used in the past. Beware the "Top Tier" fanbois have been ButtHurt over this subject. BCM also has done a test where their bolt/upper went over 33,700 rounds IIRC without a significant failure. BCM's BCGs run @ 170.00

You missed the deal on those thanksgiving week, they were 69.99. But 99 is still a good deal on them. I have two, they are both good BCG's.

The last 3 that I have bought have been the same PSA BCG. Looking forward to the 69.99 xmas sale, I hope

For anyone not aware, they are not made by PSA, PSA just buys them in such large quantity that they get a killer deal. I believe they are made by a company that is also a .mil supplier. They won't say who, but I'd venture to guess its tool craft or similar company. Just a guess, not a fact.

Have two, put many rounds through them. Seem solid to me. They look just as good as my colt BCGs.

Like others have said beware of the BCM/Noveske/LMT/DD fanbois that think PSA is junk.
