What I've seen on gb is pretty competitive with what I've seen other online retailers charge. Most have been out of stock for quite some time as well. I just got mine very lightly used but I won't tell you for how much you'll probably hate me...

The time to buy was before Dec 02, (the San Bernardino shooting). Although the current panic isn't Sandy Hook bad, ARs and any popular semi-autos (Tavors, AKs, SCARs...ec) are being bought up which is raising prices.

It's a perfect storm of Christmas season, post-black Friday, post terrorist attack market with a little temporary manufacturer-caused artificial scarcity. Best advice I can give is put money down for your local FFL/lgs so they have an incentive to find a rifle for you. Otherwise, buy via gunbroker or be patient.
