Those are all full sizedHere you go: https://troyind.com/backup-iron-sights/fixed
No, they don't get much smaller than that. You can't exactly change the height, and if they're made too flimsy they'd just get bent, plus you still need some mechanism to adjust them. Folding sights can definitely be made without the protective ears and such, but of course they're folded and out of the way 99% of the time.Comment

Except you'll need risers on an AR to actually get a cheek weld and sight picture with those. That's why I asked what sort of rifle they would be going on. Sure, they're small. But when you add the risers(aside from having to pay for risers), you're adding bulk. If you're going to add risers, then what's the point of going with a shorter sight in the first place?
No, they are not full sized. This is larger: https://danieldefense.com/components...ear-sight.html
This is the normal sized rear sight portion of a carry handle: http://www.lmtstore.com/accessories/...ear-sight.html
Sights like these are not fixed, because it wouldn't make any sense(they'd just get caught on crap and banged up: http://www.knightarmco.com/military/...ights-military While it may be very easy to say "But I want that" the reality is that hardly anyone else would want it, thus it's not worth manufacturing in bulk to get the cost down to something affordable(unless you really want to pay through the nose for a one-off).Last edited by Merc1138; 09-21-2015, 9:24 AM.Comment

I believe those are aimed at shotguns or at least a weapon with some drop to the stock. These sit really low:

Correct, they'd be terrible on an AR(and the OP still hasn't actually specified what it is that he's building...)

And the HK sights are shorter, because the HK 416 rail sights higher.

I don't know if you'd call these micro, but I used this fixed rear sight on my ultra lightweight AR build. 1.7 oz, and pretty tough. Made by Daniel Defense.

I'm guessing by 'micro' sized, the OP means HK416/Cas-V/Sig556 height sights. They're a bit shorter than standard AR height sights, about 3/8" shorter.
I have HK416 sights on my pistol and they work fine. I had to enlarge the apertures to maintain HK ring-of-light sight picture but they're solid and cheap. It seems they have G3/HK91 drums installed so unless you'll be using them for a long sight radius rifle, you'll want to do something about the drums.
Here they are co-witnessed with a TRS-25:
