922r are monitoring this thread very carefully. Make sure you have all your receipts for every US part carefully taped to each part on the rifle at the range.

How would anyone know if a part on a gun was not made in the USA?

(unless it said, "Made in China" on it), but do those parts really have "Made in ____" labels on them?

I mean, if they didn't, how can someone always assume something was not made in the USA?

Is it typical now to assume something was not made in the USA by default?

Nobody would know, and nobody has ever been prosecuted for violating 922r.

Nobody knows for sure who it applies to (importers, commercial manufacturing, private individuals) but note how it makes no mention of POSSESSION, much like our hi cap mag laws in CA.

Lots of Century parts just have a C stamped in them.
Most barrels aren't marked made in USA.
I also sure as hell don't bother to mark my home made receivers as being American made

Even the old Global Trades 922r compliance parts (grips, muzzle devices, and pistons IIRC) didn't have any markings on them.

Call the 922r hotline. They'll send a guy right over and clear it all up for you.

Not to mention all the ATF letters floating around where they admit that 922r is basically unenforceable.
