    AK Sights

    I have a few AK type weapons that I'd like to upgrade sights on.

    NPAP

    Saiga 308

    Saiga 12

    I was thinking of going with some sort of peep sights on the rifles. I like AR type sights much more than open sights, but a drum style rear like HK uses might be nice too.

    For the shotgun I was considering ghost rings.

    Any suggestions on brands, or what to stay away from, etc? I'd rather get something that's fairly easy to install.

    I also have some SKSs that I'd be interested in upgrading sights on.

      Krebs, power custom, and mojo make ghost ring sights and circle 10 ak makes a hybrid ghost ring sight.
      A SWAT Monkey is a powerful psychological tool. Imagine you are a criminal hiding in a closet and you hear "Release the monkey!" You would shudder.

          I love the kreb's AK peep sight. I have it on all my AK pattern guns.

          For the front sight I go with one of the XS trijicon options. I use the XS big dot for the Saiga-12 and the stripe for rifles.

          You really wouldn't believe what a difference upgrading the sights makes.

                  I have mojo sights on my m10 and like them. I'm going to try the fuller sight mod as click boom suggested on my saiga 222 and see how it goes.

                          All I'm seeing is front sight pins, are there any rear sights? That's what I'm most interested in replacing.
