    ASC 10/20Rnd Mags total failure

I purchased 3 of these mags from different orders. 2 out of 3 committed total failure as seen in photos below. I was having failure to feed problem with my AR and couldn't get the BCG to grab the round into the chamber. So I ejected the mag and voalah the rounds fell out all over the bench. The culprit?
The follower got stuck by the crimped corners of the casing.

Who crimped those like that in order to limit the capacity? Your problem is not the magazine but the manner in which they were limited. They should have had either rivet in place or and internal block such as those made by magblock.

    Try here next time.

I bought them as is. I didn't crimp them myself. The mag itself wasn't intended to be crimped. Oh, well lesson learned. Won't be buying crimped mags anymore

So do you know if that was done by them or factory? I would contact them and see if they can help you out. I have had nothing but great service from them.

Nope no paint. They came like that.
I'm going to load 9 rounds max on my third mag to avoid over pushing the follower below the crimped notches

I have their LR308 version also bought from magcommander. It says they are factory dimpled so far I haven't experienced this problem.

I experienced the exact same problem when inserting a mag on a closed bolt. Those mags went into the do not use bin.
