What was the issue with them?

1 FSB installed too far to the right. I moved the sight post as far as it would go and it was still off.
2 seriously canted gas block, so much so I couldnt remove cleaning rod, this one pissed me off as you could tell by looking at it and the curve in the cleaning rod.
3 feed and eject issues with various ammo and mag selections, I have most available ammo and mags on the market and it just refused to like anything.

The 4th issue is for all of them, it appears to me when I compair the newer arsenals with my earlier models the over all fit and finish is not the same, furthermore I figure for the cost of an arsenal there would be no reason to cut corners.
Now this is just my own personal opinion that others share but I'll let it be known there are still plenty of arsenal fans out there that'll cary the flag but for me I'll pass on any future arsenal purchases.
To be on the safe side, if you do buy an arsenal, buy it from Atlantic because they will not stick you with a bum rifle.

Does anyone know any good LGSs in the SoCal area that stock an assortment of AKs and they have employees that know their stuff? (That's probably asking a lot)

I would love to be able to get hands-on an assortment of AKs to gauge what you're getting in different quality levels of AKs.

I am a fan of Atlantic Firearms for all their catering to the poor deprived souls out here in the people's republic of Kalifornia. Those are beautiful rifles, but I wish Atlantic would take better care of the two rivets right above the pistol grip and simply make them disappear. As shown, the rivets detract from a pretty nice conversion otherwise.

to really do the conversion primo, u got to weld over the holes and refinish the rifle and total costs will be WAY above what Atlantic is selling it for!

Looks like they also add ironwood furniture. So that adds up a good amount vs surplus wood. Also in general parts have gotten harder and more expensive to find.

The trunnion was one off. I was talking about FSB's GB's so on and so forth for conversions.
