We were supplying the Syrian resistance with US weapons and supplies. Some of those same Syrian resistance members formed ISIS. That's where many (if not most) of the weapons came from.

We stupidly thought we could figure out who was the most friendly to the US and supply them with weapons to fight Assad. The problem with all of the resistance groups was they had 3 common enemies - Israel, the US, and Assad in that order.

As Netanyahu once said, sometimes the enemy of your enemy is your enemy. After so much time and effort spent in the Middle East, we still don't get it.

Apparently you must have missed out on the complaints over the past few years from our forces sent over to train those people. It's not so much that they're trained to run away... rather they apparently don't give enough of a crap in the first place.

And a muslim in the middle east does not automatically mean ISIS.
