My Wallymart only carries 55gr (MC L223R3). A fellow AR owner at the range saw I was using it and mentioned he couldn't hit the side of a barn with that stuff but that with reloaded ammo he was drilling bulls. I was hitting paper at 100 yds and trying to dial in, so the inconsistency was killing me. He gave me five rounds of his stuff and I was in the 10 without any adjustment. It had been a very aggravating morning until then.

So, I stil have some of the stuff left and will just shoot it out but won't adjust the scope with it. As always, YMMV.
Do not try and bend the spoon, that's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth...there is no spoon.

Drive 40 mins south down to stockton. I saw them carry the Rem .223 but have not seen the Fed bulk brick. This Walmart's got good stock of ammo.
Outdoor Sportsman in Stockton, by March Ln/West Ln carries tons of them too at a pretty good price.

I think the only difference is the head stamps. They are probably the same brass.
