The whole thing is going to be Cerakoted Magpul FDE. Thats why my stock, grip and mag is FDE. I just want to test fire the gun before it goes in for Cerakoting!

Post up pics after the Cerakote. That Noveske gonna look j00cy as hell in all FDE.

Beautiful build. I did their 15" NSR on their 16" double chrome CHF barrel. Thought of using that break but went with a rainier arms

Get a good optic, preferably some magnification, some match ammo and see what your rifle really can do. Or else just sell it and get a BCM REECE factory build for $1350.

I speculate he will upgrade that part as you recommend as the rifle does deserve a quality optic. Whats wrong with plinking with 55g? I would rather shoot more then buy the expensive heavy loads.

Yea I did put a $160 red dot on it, but I did some research on it. Watch some vids of it. AK operators union, froze it, let it sit in water, mounted it to an AK and drug it behind a truck for a while and it still worked. Matter of fact it still even held Zero even when severly damaged from being drug behind the vehicle. The glass broke, but the re dot part still worked and like I said it still held zero at 100 meters.

I still plan to eventually get an Aimpoint T1. Maybe if I can be patient I can save for an Acog. That's what I really want.

In OP's defense, that red dot is good. I can afford an Aimpoint T2 if I want it, but yep, after watching Rob Ski of the AK Operators Union 47/74 beat the crap out of one.. I felt comfortable. Plus it has 50,000hr battery life.
