Just Finished My 1st AR Build. Noveske Goodness!

Hey just I just put together my 1st AR this weekend. It will go in for Cerakote in the next few weeks. I think I'd like to do it in Magpul FDE. Anyway I love it. I've always been an "AK Kinda Guy", but building this AR has left a soft spot in my heart for them . The build was pretty damn fun to do. I can definitely see myself doing more of this in the future :P

    Parts:
    Noveske Gen 2 Chainsaw Lower
    Noveske 13.7 "Infidel" Upper
    Noveske 15" NSR Rail
    Noveske KX5
    Noveske Receiver Pins
    Noveske 60 Degree Safety
    Noveske BCG
    Noveske Raptor Charging Handle
    Spikes Tactical LPK
    Spikes Tactical Buffer Assembly
    Vltor FDE Imod Stock
    Magpul FDE MOE+ Grip
    Magpul MBUS Pro Sights
    Primary Arms Red Dot
    Raddlock FDE Bullet Button

          Noveske Receiver Pins
          Noveske Raptor Charging Handle
Not trying to be a jerk at all but why for these? Is there something special about the pins that work better than the ones you got in your spikes LPK? Are you a lefty?

Looks good, I like the big comp at the end of a float tube.
weg: That device is obsolete now. They replaced it with wizards.
frank: Wait a minute. There are more than one wizard? Is [are?] the wizard calibrated?

The main reason was I was trying to make this rifle as much or a complete Noveske rifle as I could. I feel like a complete Noveske rifle is just that much more special. My Upper came with the Raptor charging handle installed. I ordered the pins for like $8 so I figured why not?!

Some people want options and diversity. I prefer Ambi charging handles to regular charging handles , its just easier for me to grip/pull and very well might be the same with OP

Cool. The pins were what really threw me, at first I thought they were QD pins or whatever, figured I was missing something. I eat my charging handle so I like the lopro of the mil spec one.

OP, good looking stick buddy. Who did your pinning and welding? I had a hard time looking for someone to do my 14.5" so ended up pinning it myself and went over to my buddy's shop to have it welded.

I actually bought the Noveske Infidel upper complete so the KX5 was already pinned from the factory. I stumbled across it on Tactical Tailors facebook page. They had a 10% off sale on their Noveske Uppers. I emailed them asking what uppers they had and they didn't have what I wanted after I told them what I was looking for. About 2 hours later I got an Email back from them telling me they had just got a Keymod Infidel upper in(which is exactly what I was looking for!). So I bought it right there on the spot. $1350 shipped. Not to shabby considering how hard it seemed to be to find an Infidel upper!
