A good deal on a retro AR (everything minus the receiver):

(oops, looks like it no longer has the bolt, carrier or charging handle)

Honestly, all this constant reposting of this picture has made me incredibly curious to find out what's being hidden in Photoshop.

As for retro builds: maybe 10-15 ARs down the line I'll add a couple retros to round out the collection, but no current interest.

I was lucky enough to fire a full auto retro M16 when I was in North Carolina.

Probably the best time of my life...

My machinist buddy is a excellent aluminum welder he welded a stop by welding it in the front and backside of the mag he did it for me a while back.. not sure how he does it(aluminum welding) or what he uses, I'll have to ask him Monday. I cut a 20rnd mag spring to match the length of my Bushmaster 10rndrs handed the spring to him and the follower... . The only problem is that I can't take the mag apart to clean it as I cut a 20rnd mag spring to match the length of my Bushmaster 10rndrs handed the spring to him and the follower.. he then put the follower and spring in the mag and welded the stop in place with the follower and spring already installed.....
