    AR pistol bobsled question

So for the folks who are doing the bobsled thing for the single-shot exemption, are there any cheaper than these:

It looks like they are around $40.00 after shipping.

Has anyone made a 1/20 or 1/30 Pmag sled using AlohaRover's tutorial? (epoxy a rod that is almost the length of the magazine so you can only load one round instead of 10)

This would seem to be a cheaper fixed-mag, single-shot alternative. Thoughts?

I remember a few people talking about buying one and passing it around as needed for people acquiring AR lowers as pistols. Perhaps one of them can pay it forward to you?
