I have both, and they are defiantly my favorite rifles.

    It's much favorite too.

I never considered the 77/44 before but now I'm thinking about it specifically for hunting. These weigh 5.5 lbs and are very nice to carry compared to my other 8 lb rifle.

Yea you have to be a little firm on the bolt, no big deal.

I have been reloading for about 25 years now, so the price is not to bad for me.
I see the prices on new .357 mag, .44 mag, and even .38 spl., WOW thats a lot of money.

Oh Awesome! I'm sure you save yourself a bundle! Yeah the prices are expensive, that's why I only shoot nothing but reloads.

Reloading costs for me are about $13.50 per 50rds .357 mag and $17.50 per 50rds .44mag.
I shoot jacketed bullets, more money than lead bullets, but I prefer jacketed.
I have had my brass for many years, so no more cost there.
Once you get past the initial cost of everything, you do save money and it is fun.
Like I said earlier, I have been reloading for about 25 years now, so the initial cost has more than paid off.

Wow you are saving a bundle! Even though I'm shooting reloads, I'm still paying way more than you are per 50 rounds. I really need to push myself into reloading my own ammo.

Even if you don't reload save your brass.

I try to, but there's always a guy who works there sweeping up everyone's brass. The moment I'm done shooting one gun, all my brass is already swept up it's really annoying.

Eject the case slowly so it doesn't hit the floor. One less piece of brass he'll get. Definitely save everything. 357 is a fun and very versatile round to reload and I highly recommend it to start out on.

I pull the bolt back slowly and it ejects onto the bench.

I've been saving my brass since I bought my rifle and I plan to start reloading in the new year. I got a lee hand loader a year ago and it's about time I open the package!

                              Nice! Also a good tactic.
