I have a rem 700 aac-sd that came with the hogue rubber stock and since I am used to pistol grips on rifles the grip angle is very awkward/ uncomfortable for me. I looked at some stocks online and am debating whether to switch it out or leave it and learn to deal with it. The reason I am confused is bc of the huge range of prices for a stock. I get material, free floating, etc, but what makes a stock worth so much more, ie a choate vs mcmillan? Any advice would be appreciated, especially if someone could explain bedding??. It very well could be I have bad fundamentals and I will be taking a class here shortly but for the purposes of education lets get past my lack of skills.
