    I'd like a 45-120 with some really nice wood . . .

FWIW at the Appleseed last weekend I let some relatively new shooters try out my No. 1 in .45-70. (One guy had never shot anything that wasn't a video game prior to that weekend.) Iron sights, pumpkins at 70 meters.

The pumpkins vaporized. They had no trouble with it at all.

A 9.3X74R would be handy. I also have a 45-70 but it's a T/C Encore with a Begara barrel it shoots great. I might hunt some with it this season but I will pretty much stick to the timber with it.

I'd like one of the .303s that they produced several years ago.

a 26" barreled 6.5/284 would be the cats meow!

Just a new barrel for my worn out squirrel killer.

I have a pre warning 1976 No.1 that started life as a 458. I sent it to Bowen Arms and they turned it into a 470 Nitro Express. With it being one of the older No.1's it has outstanding wood on it. I have one of the newer No.1's in 450-400 and 9.3X74. The wood isn't nearly as nice. A 6.5X284 would be a winner in my opinion.
