Very nice. I am just curious why you would use a RDS instead of magnified glass?

        Nice!

Curious - is it configured for detachable mags?

^^ Yes, the Archangel stock takes 5 or 10 round magazines.

I was thinking about the Archangel stock and recently mounted a scope on a 91/30 with and Archangel stock for a customer, but I did not like the feel/weight of it in relation to the caliber/recoil.

I shoot mostly military sporter silhouette 200-500 meters and an occasion 500/600/800 prone matches and decided to go with the Boyds tacticool for the weight and ridgitity.

I do like the ten round detachable mag for the Archangel stock.

                ^
Own both, Archangel feels heavier and it actually absorbs quite a bit of recoil (the barrel is ff)
It has 1-4x scope now and needs to be sighted in.

Still have Boyd stock for sale if anyone's interested.

Now you need to get a picture of the fireball you'll get out of the 18in barrel!

That looks awesome, I was thinking of doing the same thing, but keeping the barrel at around 22 inchs or factory.

Shot at usi yesterday with pretty good accuracy, magazine fix worked perfect no chambering or ejecting issues. Sorry no fireball pics but oh yeah I got myself a thumper!

Hi. I just wanted to share my fireball pictures. I pretty much copied Jeremy's ultimate Mosin build from TTAG:

18.5" barrel, PA M11 muzzle brake, See-All open sight, Archangel stick, Timney trigger. Waiting on a brass stacker mount and duracoat for the stock.

Here are some pics from the National Forrest outside the Grand Canyon
