I go with lefty bolt actions not because of ease of operating the bolt. The main reason is the stock was made to fit a lefty. Shooting a RH stock when you are lefty puts you at a disadvantage in fitment of the gun. Ask any serious skeet shooter if stock fit is important to good shooting.

Here's what I have in LH:

Weatherby 7mm, Sako 75 Hunter .30-06, Tikka T3 Hunter 9.3 x 62, and CZ 550 Safari .375 H&H. The deal is, it has taken a lot of time and patience to find these LH bolt guns (at decent prices). I learned to shoot right-handed, and I have shot RH for many years. I now have the luxury of being able to shoot LH.

However, for us lefties sometimes we have no alternative than to use a RH rifle. For example: I want a LH .416 Rigby for an upcoming trip to Africa. Believe it or not, they do exist, but at prices that start around $5,000.00! I am looking at a used RH CZ .416 Rigby (for next to nothing) and if I can find a LH stock that will fit a RH CZ action, I will go with the RH .416 and be very happy.

Lefty here and my only left handed gun is a Bolt action .375 Ruger Alaskan. I'm comfortable using right handedrs, but if I ever get a chance to use that Ruger as it was intended (dangerous game) you can be damn sure I want every advantage possible with a proper fit stock and the ability to keep my sight picture while cycling the bolt.

For some reason I shoot rifles and use scissors left handed. I bought a RH 7mm Rem Mag Savage for a steal. Didn't like using it LH or RH so I sold it and I'm sticking with my LH Weatherly MKV.

I'm right handed but left eye dominant. I shoot long guns from the left and will buy a left hander if available. I have two CZ Ultra Lux's; one in left, the other in right. I never shoot the right hander, but love my CZ 550 in right that I shoot from the left. I love my Ruger GSR in lefty. The PTR 91 can be painful to shoot from the left.
