Thinking of Selling--> Decided to keep all :)

    I have 2 Cadex Defense Dual Strike Short action Remington 700 (308) for a while. 1 is 26'', 1 is 20''

I'm thinking of selling one of it as they're pretty much the darn same rifles
From visual which one you guys think I should sell or keep?

I don't know anything about that chassis.. but what's keeping your from selling one but keeping the barrel. Then you can swap the barrel if you want to switch from shorter barrel to longer (or vice versa)? Or am I missing something?

Keep the 26" as is and rebarrel and chamber the short one to a 26" 6.5CD.

I'd sell the heaviest of the two. Gotta love a light weight weapon.

              I'd keep the top one.

Keep the one with the longer barrel.

What kind of velocity differential are we talking?

For a rig like that, I'd think higher velocity would offer more bang for your buck.

                      26" or bust.
                      Lose the tactical 20" nonsense.

                        Thanks Guys.
Yes, I have been debating between keeping the long or short barrel so probably I will keep the long barrel one. Thinking of doing the 6.5 CD too

ps. since you guys mention about the weight, both of them are freaking heavy.

Exactly. Not really any reason to have a 20lb rifle with a short barrel. Might as well have a 20.4lb rifle and a full length barrel and the extra velocity that comes with it.

Rebarrel the shorty to something in 6.5!

Sell the parts but keep the action for future projects.

Sell one, buy ammo with the proceeds.
