Looks like a Vortex PST 4-16x50 to me

I really like the 4-16 FFP, it's a great scope and just looks really well proportioned. I'd get one/some if I didn't do a lot of 1000yard + shooting.

I like your duracoat, like your stock, love the cartridge and scope choice.

All around nice rifle you have there.

Should knock those critters down like the Hammer of Thor!

Interested in seeing a full range report.

I'm confused? Is that a sporter weight barrel? Is this for hunting?

Yes a standard 7mag barrel. And yes it's also my hunting rifle.. But it accurate at long range.. Was shooting a 830 yard target relatively consistently with the standard sps sock and a elite 4200 8-32 on it last year.. But that's not the scope I used for hunting, that's why I chose the vortex.. I can play both games.

Oh, OK. I was confused. A hunting rifle with a big scope and a 20 MOA base didn't make sense to me, I guess it still doesn't. It's a nice rifle but if I'm going to carry a rifle, it's going to be as light as I can get it. Oh, who am I kidding, I'm not carrying any rifle much further than from the car to the bench. I even complain about that.

It's not that heavy.. The stock is 1/2 lb heavier than the factory stock. And the scope will still be zeroed at 200.. So with the 20moa base and 75 moa adjustments in the scope I can play at long ranges.. And be more confident with hunting from longer ranges.
Heck I hunt coyotes with a 20in ar with a magpul prs stock.. It must way over 12lbs, and I usually have a shotgun with me too.. So by comparison it's not too heavy

Great Job on that rifle! I actually like the 7rem mag. Many do not because of it's reputation for painful recoil. My uncle blew the lungs right out of 300 lb. pig with his. It was quite impressive. Massive damage and show stopper for sure.
