I would agree. If it was a rifle I bought/traded and then decided I wanted something different, then I would sell. But something passed down from my grandparents, I would keep or pass to another relative.

Great round. Never give up guns that came down through the family.
Anything else is expendable, old guns were made better anyway.
You have the wants, so do what you will.
