Mang, a employee at turners told me a delton ar15 was as good as any other ar15. After that, I refuse to do business w/ turners. Also 770 and axis are both trash.

This question is the gun analogy equivalent to, "Who do you like more, Feinstein or Pelosi?"

Nah, not a crisis, you could probably recoup half the cost if you are patient and wait for a good community buyback program.

Skip the 770. I learned the hard way after buying one. Sloppy, sticky bolt and magazine in addition to the cheap scope and stock. Luckily, I was able to sell mine after months of trying.

The Axis II only seems to be offered in 22-250 REM or .243 WIN, although I'm sure that'll change soon...

yup, went to big5 and tried one, the kid behind the counter hunts and was honest enough to tell me it was junk. I tried working the action in store and it really is junk.

                        Axis

It is way more gun for the money than it ought to be.
Savage is doing something right. Remington, has been headed the other direction for quite some time now.

Go Savage. Its one heck of an economical/quality choice.
