I will try smaller increments and see what I get. Could be the shooter as well lol. But yes feels great to know something made in my garage was that accurate. Thanks for the input

When you nail the charge, try seating the bullet deeper and deeper, not kidding. I have found that copper solids (barnes and E-tips specifically) in my guns (and that included the 111lrh I owned) preferred a long jump to the lands, and it had a drastic positive effect on performance.

I am looking to get a LRH as well. Seeing the bullets deeper does not create excessive pressure. I apologize in advance if this is a dumb question. These are my first rifle loads ever. Still very new to reloading

He means seat them deeper if you arent already seated at your minimum overall length. Its never a good idea to seat a smaller oal than what your book(s) list.

it can, but not always. That's why, when you nail the optimum charge, you seat incrementally down, and not just jump deep into the case.

take your press to the range. shoot a few. Then screw the seater plug deeper and seat a few loaded rounds and shoot. Then screw the seater plug down a little and re-seat still more rounds then shoot.

zero wasted components and you get your test data right away.

Doesn't adding more powder create excessive pressure? Same answer. Of course it will, eventually. That's why you work up slow.
