    Prvi Partizan ammo?

I haven't used my Marlin 30/30 in over 10 years

my son, also an avid shooter, is going out to some BLM area this weekend with some of his shooting buddies...he wants to take the Marlin, I have no problem with it, they are responsible shooters, I trust their decisions

my problem is that I have no ammo for the Marlin...the father of one of my sons friends, he is also going, said he has lots of 30/30 ammo, 150 grain made by Prvi Partizan...can anyone hear give this ammo the heads up?

never bought, or, heard much about their ammo

I see it online going in the neighborhood of about .75 cents a round, so, if all is good with this ammo, I'll be happy to purchase 50-100 rounds from him for their outing

I have had nothing but success with PRVI Partizan. It is good ammo. Brass case, and (I think) non corrosive and reloadable. They sell it at Wal Mart.

Not bad stuff, good brass cases I buy them for reloading, bought it in 30-30 at walmart for under $20 for a box of 20.

I'm happy with all of the PPU ammo that I've shot. Need to get my bolt back from Randall so I can try out their match stuff.

Its good ammo. I have shot plenty through my 336C and have also shot a lot through my revolvers and 1911.

                  Nothing but success here.

Buy 500x at a shot, then you have years and years of great reloadable brass.

                  One thing:

in my gun, in my cartridge, prvi would shoot a cloverleaf at 100 IF I kept the barrel cold. 20-25 minutes for five shots....

but shoot 2 rounds every minute and rounds 35-40 are gonna open up. a lot. Not a problem for the way I shoot. But if you are coming from semi-auto land, you might care about that kinda stuff?

Good stuff. I have had good success in terms of reliability and accuracy.

Never had any problems with it in any of my rifles or handguns.

I just went out to BLM land a week ago and shot over 100rds. of PP ammo through my brand new M 336c and it worked just fine! Both the ammo and the gun! I found it for just about $15/box online.

                          Shoot and enjoy!

PPU works just fine for cheap target ammo, and it is generally pretty safe for your gun.

I usually grab PRVI over winchester etc. due to price and have never had any issues with it
