The rifle is 308 and most it will see is 5-600 yard, but 80% of the time it will be under 200 yards. As far as the scope goes, i really dont know where to start, i know i do want largest field of view.

Look at a 3-12x44 Bushnell with the G2 reticle.
It will be around $800, but it will have one of the wider field-of-views without going into MUCH larger and more expensive scopes or stepping down to a 2.5-8 magnification...

The field of view is DIRECTLY effected by the magnification.
Lower magnification equals wider field-of-view.

Redfield or Burris 2-7 or 3-9

When hunting with a rifle no iron sights you need a scope that can go down to low magnification for the close shot.

Sorry for the lack of info.

Mostly target shooting and occasional hunting rifle. I wouldn't be able to shoot more than 500 yards due to lack of ranges. i would like to stay under 600 for the scope since the gun only cost around 600. And scope with larger field of view.

The rifle has pre drilled holes no rails came with it. It has adjustable trigger. I would like to change the stock innear future since the hogue stocks are very flexible. And if i do, i would prefer the stocks that will accept AI mags

I would like to get a rail that doesnt require bedding if possible since there arent any gun smith around my area. And willing to pay the premium.

Get and EGW 10 moa base, burris z rings, and a name brand scope in the 3-12 power range. Mil-dot reticle only (not knobs) is a good quick reference aiming/holdover device for wind/target/hunting usage.

Forget about badger rings and base (overpriced/built) as you are not dropping out of a helicopter or shooting run and gun. You don't need a "Suppressor" or "brake", why anyone would recommend that is not understanding your usage.

Don't get sucked into the Ricky Recon Tactical bling show just yet, shoot you gun and become proficient then move on to next level.

these are only 20 bucks, I was just wondering why they are so cheap and how sturdy they are. they are made out of aluminum though unlike other steel models.
