Perhaps one of these could help her with some decompression at home?

update - wife is getting better. going to try acupuncture, then back de-compression's to relieve a little bit of the pain. if that does not work, then maybe surgery. with that said, i started my tax return and so far, so good. i may get my rifle back after all in less than 3 months.

Most importantly, I'm glad she's feeling better, but I bet you're stoked to get the rifle back

If she needs surgery and you are in socal, try and get a consult with Dr. Sylvan Palmer. He was practicing at mission hospital in mission viejo when I last saw him. I had a 10mm buldge (L4/5) and did a fantastic laser lamindectomy and only left me with a very small incision. His bedside manner leaves something to be desired but he is a very gifted surgeon.

            * update....acupuncture helped a little. looks like surgery may not be needed if she does not have another big flare up. she will be trying back decompressions and she's going to therapy to strengthen her back and legs.

            WITH THAT SAID...

When I get my tax refund (late Feb/Mar), I have the approval from the wife to "BUY" back my rifle!!!!!

My friend has one of this friends doing the build (Sorry Randall...I had no say as to where he went with the rifle and he did not want to worry about shipments to so-cal). When I start my 300blackout build, you're the guy to build my upper.

The company is Spartan Precision. I did some research and they look to be an alright company. Anyone have experience with these guys?

I got a compressed L5, I know its not fun. Decompression did wonders for me, at the end of therapy I loved that machine.

              Good luck.

There's an understatement. Go over to Snipershide and you'll find volumes of praise for your new rifles' builder. Thank your friend and Congrats.

I just looked up how much that action costs... wow.

but after doing the math on buying a donor rifle or action and having the work done to comparable spec to your action, almost the same.
WTB: Marlin 989 M2 stock (uncracked), and 989 M2 rifles
                        Thanks

Im probably saving $400-700 by buying the components myself and looking for deals on certain components.

That action is the same action G.A Precision uses in their custom rifles...it is the Templar V2 action, or should I say the Templar V2 is the Defiance Deviant.
