Considering that this action is compatible with Zermatt pre-fit barrels, chances are, the barrels in the barreled actions are from one of the existing barrel makers. So, not likely to be some cheap $200 barrel.

You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.

Just a correction, Frank is NOT an owner of Mile High Shooting. I know this as we were just talking recently on the phone about various things.

            He does own Snipershide though.

There are plenty of things he doesn't like, and he's not exactly shy about saying so.

                  $1543 in a KRG Bravo: https://www.omahaoutdoors.com/aero-p...moor-od-green/

Not bad considering the barreled action was $1100. For $443 you get the KRG, a trigger, assembly, maybe even a magazine. Plus, you probably get a warranty.

$1900 in an Aero chassis: https://www.omahaoutdoors.com/aero-p...6-5-creedmoor/

Just saw a bare action at LGS for $899, they weren't readily versed on its details so I looked for this thread. Tempting, but I already have a complete Remington 700 and wondering how much improvement I'll see with this.

Everyone has been hyping this thing up ever since SHOT. I wasn't overly impressed when I saw it at SHOT, but it is cut for AI and AW mags and supports interchangeable bolt heads.

On that last point, I am curious as to why they haven't released the magnum bolt heads for the short action, yet. I wonder if they may have encountered tolerance issues when it comes to shouldered prefits.

In any case, I noticed they have these on sale for $700 right now and even with out of state transfer fee, it's a pretty good price.

Sorry I was thinking of Seekins, I'm not sure on the AP Solus at this time. I can imagine they will.

I hope all works out profitably for Aero. Any adventure like this involves a lot of risk.

Personally, I'm still trying to shoot up to russkie 762X54R spamcan 1970s battlefield ammo and a Big-Five Mosin.
