    Levers For Your Viewing Pleasure

    Hi Gunners,

Here's my current stable of lever action rifles:
    Savage 99F .308 Tasco Omnivision 2X7X32 glass
Rossi 92 Carbine .357 mag (4" Rossi .357 goes with)
    Marlin 30AS .30-30 Weatherby Premier 3X9X32 glass
Rossi 92 Rifle .357 mag (broken one posted last year - 6" Astra .357 goes with)
Henry Big Boy Steele .41 mag Vortex 1X4X24 glass (6.5" Blackhawk goes with)

Had a Marlin 39 that I gave to my buddy 20 years ago. Been lookin for the right Ruger 96 for at least a decade. Thanks Guys, PAX

Outstanding! Pax. Thanks for the photo.

Tell us more about your Marlin, the one you call a 30AS. Was that simply a special edition of a Model 336?

From what I've researched the AS was an economy version of the 336, but supposed to have a plain stock, not checkered. I don't know if the guy in front of me swapped furniture or not. I added the mount, scope and spur. It's marked AS on the barrel. Some AS rifles had a shorter tube, I had one I stupidly let get away . It's pretty sweet, not run much before I got and not by me either. Up until the plague madness, I'd buy a couple boxes of ammo every pay cycle or get them off the marketplace here and elsewhere. I scored on some bulk for dirt at one time. I've got close to 1K of 150 gr. ammo for it and 200 rounds of pointy boolits for the Savage 325. PAX

I think I may have shown these before, but what the heck..... my collection of original Winchester 1892 carbines. From top to bottom - 44-40, 38-40, 32-20, and 25-20:

Always looking for vintage Winchester and Marlin lever action rifles. Looking to sell? Know of one for sale? Drop me a line!

very very nice! it's funny tho everyone gets their own flavor of what they prefer. I dont really like the 92/94 action tho yeah it's "better" than the old toggle actions

I totally get that. 92's are my jam, though. Probably because I grew up watching westerns where everybody was using one.

                          I do have a nice original '73 in 32-20, because...Winchester '73

I only have pre 64 Winchester 94s. No other levers

I like them, even though the guts fall downward out the bottom working the lever
