My lever guns:

Great collection! And thanks for reminding me that I forgot a lever gun. My .45-70 Shiloh Sharps #3 sporter with half octagon barrel. Just the way I ordered it. That beat up bullet was given to me. It was dug up at Adobe Walls in Texas. Who knows. Maybe a young Bat Masterson or Billy Dixon fired it.

Am I weird in that I get more excited by that old bullet with it's probable historical significance than I do over just about any new gun (although I have greatly desired one of those Shiloh Sharps for many years).

I guess that is why I prefer old guns over new ones and my two favorite lever guns are my 1888 Winchester '73 and my 1900 Marlin 1893.
