Troy Industries had a pump action AR, not even sure if that’s in production still.
Always thought it was cool but I never dove into PAR since I loved my semi autos.

Had one of those in .308 too but ended up selling it to another calgunner who was going to take it "big game hunting" in Africa. Doesn't seem like a great big game rifle to me, but to each his own. It was kind of clunky IIRC. Not as svelte as an AR10, or even something like a Browning BLR.

That AK Guy on Youtube Brandon Herrera did a video on the rifle today.
Gun influencers tend to make people want to rush out and buy things, if you own a PAR-1 or PAR-3 you might be able to sell it for a prettier penny today than yesterday.

I remember seeing the PAR-1 in stores. I didn't think much of it. One gun that I did like and considered buying was a pump action Galil that I saw at store in 2000. It was just after the California assault ban took effect and that was one of the few military type rifles the store had.

I remember video's but for a pump I would look at a Remington first; they made them staring back in 1913. They made them in a wide variety of cartridge's too; 223, 270, 30-06 and many others

I remember seeing these for sale at Big 5, but never snagged one. Always wanted them, but had a S.O. that always found ways to drain any gun money I earmarked.

Yup, had a 1 and 3, $124.99 at Turner's on ad. Sold them, should have kept them. Last one I saw for sale was $800 in AZ and sold pretty fast. There was also a PAR-2 in 5.45x39. Those are rare.

Troy was supposed to release their pump action AR in a large frame (308) format for a long time and it never happened. I waiting around a good bit as I honestly thought one would make a decent hunting rifle. I have an Aero M5 build now with a faxon pencil barrel.

Remington actually made the 7615. Pump action patrol rifle. Here's a link to an Americn Rifleman article:

I think these were/are under the radar for a lot of folks.

I'm sorry I didn't buy one when they were being produced. I looked at one at a shop for $700 at that time. I've akways been a fan of the Remington pump action rifles.
