I have two nice 94/22 XTR's (and a pair of Marlin 39's), but do not have an example of a 94/22 in .22Mag. Wanna trade?

Well... mine is an un-fired 9422M Legacy in the box. I think I'll hang on to it.

I remember standing next to my big brother in J.C. Penney's when he bought a brand new one at their gun counter. I believe it was $179 or so...... all the money in the world to me at that time.

That was a lot of money back then for a 22 lever gun. I wonder if the Marlin 39 cost that much....

So the original model 94 in question is up to $1,075 based on his 100% original claim I am sure. It's interesting because I just bought a 1962 model 94 that IS in 100% original and beautiful condition for $1,100. More than I wanted to pay, but it's ok. The seller of the checkered nightmare quit responding to my e-mails and has not altered his description, this will be interesting to watch.
