Remington 700 Trigger Recall

If memory serves the issue was too much of a loctite type product slopped onto some of the triggers gumming them up a bit. The recall involved inspecting for the issue, and if yes, cleaning and adjusting. When the recall was announced we had just bought a 700 in .243 Win for my daughter-in-law for the then quickly approaching 2014 deer season. We just bought a Timney from Midway and never looked back. By the way she got a small forkie with the rifle that season, her first deer ever.
