Scope Mount for Tikka

I am looking for a scope base/rings for my Tikka T3x Lite Roughtech, It is in 300 Win Mag.

What does everyone use? The receiver has dovetail already, and is it good to hold the rings? I would appreciate any input. I do not have a preference either 1" or 30mm rings. There are good scopes for both diameter.

The grove is 11mm. PITA to find good rings. Warne makes good mount a and rings. Plenty of other companies do too.

I PM'ed the OP about a set of Talley rings. I use them on my T3 Lite .300 Mag as the factory dovetailed rings did not stand up to the recoil of such a light rifle in .300 Mag. I bought a set for my T3 Lite in .243 but the factory rings work well with the lighter recoil of that rifle. They are 1 inch rings. The mount is integral with the rings so one less piece to buy or get loose. I have not had an issue with the rings on my .300 Mag Tikka T3 Lite in over 10 years of hunting with it. I took my biggest Mule Deer (180") with that rifle and scope combo.

The Talleys fit the existing drilled and tapped holes so mounting is a breeze.

I'm running a DNZ mount, works well. I used the factory rings on a 7mm-08 and they worked fine, but the bolts holding them on did not. The rear bolt split at some point and caused some problems.

Talley work for me in a lite on a 30-06. Limited round count so far, but no complaints.

11mm is the standard dovetail for European target sights. There is a similar, but slightly different, 3/8" dovetail that used to be fairly common on American rifles.

They can be tough to find, but you can get 11mm to Weaver/Picatinny adaptors if you have a set of rings for US spec rails. I have a set for my German target 22 for when I want to scope it, and they work OK.
