What about the tikka v3?Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED
Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)
Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET
Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

Ammo is a consumable- match Ammo is code to $2/ round.
If you really want to shoot 1K, the tikka is an interesting choice.
6.5 creedmoor is an amazing round... I would spend more of the rifle and upgrade rings, optics and mounts later.

The first one seems to be a skinny barrel hunting gun that's not going to be as good in a target rifle role.Looking at these models. What is the better of these and why?

The 3rd one has a 22" barrel which is not as good for 1000yd shooting as a 24" barrel.
There seems to be a tendency towards a camo finish so go with the 4th one.
It's camo and has a 24" heavy barrel that makes it a good target rifle.Randall Rausch

Thanks so far the 4th one, is it. But open to suggestions. I’m looking for threaded barrel, magazine, heavy barrel, the most for my money, under $1500. Any suggestion are welcome. I’m not set on one brand.Comment

I would also add the Tikka T3x Varmint and throw on a KRG Bravo stock. 24" heavy barrel and great trigger out of the box. (can also get a lighter trigger spring or Timney trigger). Not threaded but can easily be done.Sorry. T3

What about the Tikka t3x CTR 24” threaded, just under a $1k. Are they better then Bergara, howa, etc? I like the Tikka T3x tac A1 above, but the $1800 price tag. Still need to buy a nice optic, and rings. The KRG stock is another $400 after you add tax and shipping. Bergara comes with decent stock. What makes the Tikka so much more desirable, or better. Just trying to make a sound purchase, and my lack of knowledge in long range rifles. I don’t care the color of the rifle or stock, I can always Cerakote it the color and pattern I want, just want the best bang for my buck.Comment

Yes, the Tikka T3x CTR in 24" with a KRG bravo would be an excellent choice.
Bergara vs Tikka? Bergara= Rem 700 footprint is a positive. I have heard (second hand) that QC can be a hit or miss). Tikka barrels are accurate and the actions are smooth. Stock as is, is usable but for more adjustability, the KRG offers alot for not alot of money.
I personally had the choice (but in .223) a couple years back like you and went Tikka so I might be a tad biased.
