How much did you pay? Been wanting one also.

I won the bid at $1,350 for the CSBL. But the seller couldn't commit, not sure why.

I did win another bid at $1,225 for a SBL. Currently being shipped to my FFL. Excited!

The last time I checked the average winning bid is around $1,450 to $1,750, unreal..

That could be a good price depending on Ruger. That's a lot of $ for that gun but it does seem to be the going price.

Are you in California and did the seller have a "no sales to California" tag on the auction?

He probably realized that he could relist it in a couple weeks and make a few hundred bucks more.

CSBLs and 357 Darks seem to be commanding the highest prices on gunbroker right now for new Marlins.

Probably not. However I've seen lots of listings that state "item is on display in store and is subject to purchase there prior to auction end." Not sure if this was the case in this instance.

Congrats on the 44! Even more motivation to reload if you don't already, since 44 prices on boxed ammo are a bit higher and there's so much versatility there. I'm incredibly tempted to pick one up too.

Totally agree that it's a lot of money for the rifle. It seemed like when panic buying wasn't an issue, the SBL and CSBL were still hard to find. Now that the supply is even lower, it's impossible to find it unless it's in the secondary market or auction.

Yes, I'm in Norcal. I didn't see any sales that excluded CA. It's probably because the rifle is sold in CA. I did notice a few sellers wanted extra fees collected to sell to CA because of the extra paperwork (FFL).

None of the auctions I monitored had reserves. I'm assuming that the seller knows the rifle will
sell for top dollar.

Supply and demand. Every forum and IG post related to this rifle will have comments mentioning I can't find one, been searching for months, how to buy.

I think retail is $1,075 and my FFL can get one if it's in stock for around $900-$950.

My late father left me his reloading equipment and supplies. I was rummaging through his reloading room and found a good stock of 44 Mag bullets, among other things. The room is dusty, I need to bring it back to life.
