Who makes the Remington firearms ie rifles, shotguns, pistols etc out of this slice 'em up ? If its a regular ch 11 Remington will continue or will they ?

It is interesting that Remingtons bankruptcy is going out in soo many parts.
Ruger getting Marlin division could only be good for Marlin. Remington did not help the brand.God so loved the world He gave His only Son... Believe in Him and have everlasting life.

As much as I like Ruger and have many, their quality isn't exactly top of the line or consistent. As of late any I've bought, mostly handguns, have had issues. To include a plain old SA Blackhawk whose cylinder wouldn't turn and had to be returned for work to function.
Most of what I've seen re Ruger quality has to go to economizing of fit and finish. Seems to me that's how Remington screwed up with Marlin too. Hopefully there's a lesson learned.GOA Member & SAF Life MemberComment

If it works out that Ruger gets Marlin, and actually produces “Marlin” models, it likely will be a vast improvement over some of the absolute unreliable crap they have shoveled on the consumers for years. Just peruse the manual operated firearms section of this forum, and you will see postings about some of their crap. Ruger isn’t perfect, but far better than the junky Marlin has been.Comment

I thought the Remington-era Marlins were finally coming around. I picked up a new XT-22 at the beginning of last year and it's been great. Was even thinking of picking up a 1894 Dark Series when this Corona thing hit and screwed everything up.
Is this the first time Ruger has bought another gun conpany?"All bad precedents began as justifiable measures." Julius CaesarComment

Remington is where the competition went to DIE the past few years.
Since I own a 725R, I hope this means a parts chain continues for the foreseeable future.

Ruger really likes to reduce the production costs of their guns. My bet is that they will work to streamline the production costs of the marlin product. Including possibly the investment casting process that Ruger loves so much. So I would venture to say that the value of the older true Marlin stuff is safe
or will continue to improve over time.
