Liking that this is staying on lever action type discussions. With an occasional S/A post tossed in. That's what this thread is about. Thanks.

Mojave Lever Crew - Roll Call!

Back around 1987, my SCUBA buddy had a 218 Bee lever action. I think it was a Marlin...
That was a fun lever to shoot. Not a common cartridge, but easy to make/reload.Leave a comment:

I was watching and was going to bid on this one, but it went just a tad higher than I was willing to go:

might be a candidate for a reline to keep the original barrel..
make a real straight shootin vintage lever with awesome finish!

nice looking transition model Marlin
it's a refinish that might need some tuning but I like it..
personally I prefer just about anything vintage over modern copies
and like Winchester and several other original companies, Marlin is gone

I’m almost embarrassed to say it, but I bought another lever rifle, and it wasn’t a sale that would make Randall jealous.

Of course after I paid I started really looking hard at the pictures and I think I found more deficiencies than I initially recognized but I’m still happy to add it to the collection.
