    Back around 1987, my SCUBA buddy had a 218 Bee lever action. I think it was a Marlin...

    That was a fun lever to shoot. Not a common cartridge, but easy to make/reload.

    It is, and can restore a rifle to a nice shooter if done correctly. There is a guy up in Oregon (I think) that specializes in it. Costs somewhere between $300 - $600 though, so not for everyone.

    might be a candidate for a reline to keep the original barrel..

    make a real straight shootin vintage lever with awesome finish!

    LSB is not known for bargains but they have a lot to offer ca residents..

    personally I prefer just about anything vintage over modern copies

    and like Winchester and several other original companies, Marlin is gone
