Is my grouping ok?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with my rifle or its setup. The problem has bee found and it was the ammo I was using. The core lokt ammo I was using at apparently isnt the best, and the 1 3/8 - 1 1/2 groups I was getting from it was pretty normal. Tried some Hornady Match on my next trip out and shot 3/4" groups consistently.Comment

Where the people fear the government you have tyranny. Where the government fears the people you have liberty.

Most people I see at the range shooting on the 50yd line with irons or red dots are closer to 12 inch groups.
No one is shooting milsurp rifles with irons and hitting <2" groups :lol:Comment

Use Core-Lockt to get on paper, and get zeroed. Move to match grade once that's done.
You also have not considered that it's a brand new rifle, and some break-in is also going to help improve grouping. 3/4" groups on a factory rifle is pretty good IMO.Leftists Call their own Marxism a far-right "Fascist Conspiracy Theory" <- Link to their playbookComment

I to thought that guys comment was a little far fetched, but I left it alone. Didn't want to argue with anyone over what they say they can do. I can say I put the D**k to my wife for 4 hours straight last night. Doesn't make it true.Comment

Please take note, if taken in entirety, Tom's post is only claiming those he sees at the range aren't shooting "2" groups". Using milsurp rifles and irons.
I can assure you that there are individual riflemen who can, and do, consistently do so.
I personally watched a retired USMC Sgt named Charlie. Who was the RO of the Silverado Canyon Rifle Club in Orange Cnty. Shoot a 5/8" 5 shot group at 100 yds using a 1903a3 Springfield. His usual groupings were consistently under 3".Comment

You've obviously never been to a vintage rifle match.
Indeed I am one of those who can consistantly shoot 2" or less groups with irons.
Ah, yes. I miss ol' Charlie and the Silverado club. Did you ever see him hit the 300 yd gong with his 1911? THAT was impressive!

Yes Sir, ol' Charlie was an amazing individual. And HEAVEN HELP any A-hole that stepped over the Red Line during target changes.
Silverado is where I had the pleasure to be taken under the wing of the late great Dean Grennell. And taught the finer points of riflery and reloading when I was 20 yrs old.
