Do tell. Maybe sooner. I jumped on this deal from Midway. It is the SFP model which is what I prefer. The current rage/new model is FFP, so older model is going for cheap.

More deals for those on a tight(er) budget--

Try looking at Vortex or Athlon. At your price range, you can pick up a used vortex razor easily. I would also highly recommend Athlon Cronus BTR. All the bells and whistles and it's perfect for your 6.5. Have you picked out rings yet? I'd recommend ARC's as they are one of the best and is one of the easiest to set up.

If you need any help or have any questions let me know.

Reviews and discussions of shooting and hunting related optical devices, such as rifle scopes, spotters, binoculars, etc. We will also on occasion review cameras, rifles, pistols, knives and other shooting and outdoor related equipment that interests us.

Check out his page. A lot of good info on quality optics of many makes. I've met him in person, he is very meticulous with his testing standards.
In the higher ranges, March, TT, etc. deliver.

Thanks for the insight on the ARC's; I'll probably go with these rings. Do you have the individual rings or the unimount?

                      There's this for $399. Normally $799. It's a tad heavy, but it's because it's FFP.

I have the individual rings. They might be expensive but they are well made and installation is a breeze. I tried badger, seekins, vortex, as well as few others and they don't compare when it comes to ease of installation imo.

Thanks, I think I'm going to go with unimount, I might have to take off the scope to get it in the safe.

                          Thanks again
